From July 28th through August 3rd, Jimmy Evert Tennis Center is hosting the exciting, 96th Annual American Tennis Association National Championships. The event will feature a myriad of family-fun activities throughout the week, including the Midtown Summerfest August 2nd, and other cultural festivities. The ATA boasts the title of oldest African-American sports organization in the U.S, having produced tennis greats such as Althea Gibson, Arthur Ashe, and Lori McNeil.

Indulge your sweet tooth at the Cinema Paradiso on July 30th with Cinema a la Mode, a delightful double evening of Italian movies and desserts! The night will begin at 6 pm with Lezioni di Ciocolato, an award-winning comedy film, and continue at 7:40 with a live lesson by Chef Michelle, who will instruct guests how to prepare Stuffed Manicotti and Tiramisu. At 8:15, the fun continues with Lezioni di Cioccolato 2.

If you haven’t gone to watch the Flight of the Butterflies 3D at the Museum of Discovery & Science and Autonation IMAX yet, you simply must make a night of it.
