On November 13, the Parker Playhouse (707 NE 8th Street) will be showcasing a performance of Charlotte’s Web. Based on E. B. White's heartwarming classic children's book, the show tells the story of a pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a little barn spider named Charlotte. Wilbur has a major problem, so he turns to Charlotte, a fine writer and true friend, who assures Wilbur that she will save him. This treasured tale, featuring mad-cap and endearing farm animals, explores bravery, selfless love and the true meaning of friendship. Showtime is 10 am and admission is just $7.

On November 16, CBS' The Late Late Show's multi-talented host Craig Ferguson will bring his "Hot and Grumpy" stand-up tour to the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood). Craig Ferguson entered the world of late night comedy following a diverse and eclectic career that encompassed film, television and the stage. Since taking the helm of the Late, Late Show in 2005, the show has set all-time viewer records. He won his first Emmy nomination in 2006 and received the 2009 Peabody Award for Excellence in Broadcasting for his interview with Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Ferguson has also become a huge success on the North American comedy circuit. He performs all over the country and has sold out Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. Tickets for this must-see performance start at $34 and the show begins at 8 pm.

Every full moon – including this Saturday, November 16 - The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale (1 N. Atlantic Blvd) unveils a mystical, moonlit lounge with plush couches, music by DJ Rob Riggs, specialty cocktails and gourmet appetizers, and oversized telescopes to view the golden moon rise above the Atlantic. Every soiree is open to the public, with each event benefiting a local charity. For the month of November, The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale is excited to announce all donations will benefit the Cameras for Kids Foundation. There are no velvet ropes, no cover charge, $7 valet parking, and so much fun that Condé Nast Traveler named it “The Party” in Fort Lauderdale. Enjoy the fun from 7-10 pm.
