July 10: Capt. Bouncer Smith presents "Bottom Fishing: From 20 feet to 2,000 feet" from 6:30-8 p.m. at Dusky Sports Center, 110 N. Bryan Rd., Dania Beach. Cost is $15 and redeemable for merchandise in the store. Call 954-922-8890.

July 12: A JD's Custom Baits Snakehead Round-Up is safe light to 2 p.m. out of the boat ramp on the C-14 Canal at Rock Island Road and Southgate Boulevard in Margate. Entry fee is $20 per two-angler team or individual. Fishing is allowed in all legal waters. The angler catching the biggest snakehead wins all the money, but each team must bring in a minimum of five snakeheads for its biggest fish to count. Visit jdscustombaits.com.

July 19: The Saint Coleman's Men's Club has its 14th annual "Walk On Water" Salt Water Fishing Tournament. Entry fee is $200 per boat for up to four anglers ($225 after July 16). Proceeds benefit The Special Olympics of Broward County. Kickoff party is 6-9 p.m. July 18 at Saint Coleman's at 1200 S. Federal Hwy., Pompano Beach. July 19: The seventh annual Internationally World Famous Treasure Trove Fishing Tournament is out of the Treasure Trove on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Entry is free, with awards given in at least 20 categories, including junior angler and lady angler. A free fish fry, party and raffle follow the weigh-in. The captains’ meeting is July 17. Proceeds benefit Foundation Fighting Blindness (blindness.org).
