Originally born in Fort Lauderdale, Gayle was raised in Sheffield, England. After nineteen years abroad, she returned to South Florida to become one of the foremost real estate professionals in North America.
For over twenty-three years, Gayle has been well known for her professionalism, integrity and strong work ethic. She moves easily between the residential and commercial markets, affording our customers the unprecedented luxury of having one real estate professional available to handle all of their property needs, both business and personal.
Gayle is known for her ability to comprehend and communicate the intricate details of the most complex transactions, affording her clients the luxury of timely and well-informed decisions. Gayle’s professional standards are an inspiration to the entire team, as well as to her colleagues and other professionals with whom we do business.
Carol
Klock, P.A., CRS, Broker-Associate
Carol was raised in South Florida and is a graduate of the University of Miami. Coldwell Banker established a foothold in South Florida with the purchase of The Klock Company, with sixteen offices in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
With over twenty-five years in the real estate industry, Carol has considerable expertise in the areas of technology, management, leadership training and strategic business planning. She is well known as one of Coldwell Banker’s top sales agents in South Florida and is also highly regarded as a lecturer, business & management consultant and writer.
Carol provides leadership and support for the entire team. Her focus is on developing systems and methods for the team that maximize their potential and ensure that each of our customers receive the absolute best service and results possible. She also coordinates and facilitates our consultancy practice.

Kenny Borden, Senior Sales Specialist & Sales Team Leader
Kenny brings to the real estate business outstanding management, customer service and
technological skills. As our Sales Team Leader, his knowledge, expertise and experience set
the standard for our sales team. Kenny is an excellent trainer and is constantly looking for
ways to improve the team’s knowledge and skill level. Prior to choosing real estate as his
career, in 1993, Kenny excelled as a professional soccer player, and then served as vice
president of international sales for a major sports software company.
Lucia
Gagliano, Senior Sales Specialist
Lucia is known for her enthusiasm, knowledge and compassion. She thinks of each of our
customers as royalty and makes certain they know it throughout every step of the buying or
selling process. Lucia has the patience of Job and is tireless in the search for the perfect
property. Her great sense of humor and intense loyalty to our customers, and to our team,
helps keep everyone grounded, at ease and confident. Before joining us in 1999, Lucia
enjoyed a stellar 12-year career in retail sales and management.
Jane Wheatley, Senior Sales Specialist
With a graciousness and warmth that can set anyone at ease, Jane inspires confidence in our
customers through her attention to detail and the knowledge and expertise she gained
throughout her stellar real estate career. A native of Houston, Texas, with a B.A. from the
University of Alabama, Jane held management positions in Houston, Chicago and Washington,
D.C., before relocating with her family to Florida over twelve years ago. Each of these moves
provided invaluable insights, which Jane utilizes for the benefit of other relocating families.
Maria Claudia Castaneda, Senior Sales Specialist
Maria is a valuable resource to our customers, as well as to our team. With an MBA from
Babson College, in Wellesley, MA, and several years as Director of Strategic Projects for a
major South American Construction & Engineering Consulting firm, her approach to the
business of real estate is both sophisticated and intelligent. Fluent in English, Spanish and
Portuguese, and with a tremendous amount of experience working in multicultural
environments, Maria has a keen understanding of the needs of our international clientele.
Jeff Boss, Sales Specialist
Over the course of three years with our team, Jeff’s career has progressed naturally from
providing outstanding support for our team and our sellers, as our Listing Coordinator and
Marketing Director, to finding his “home” in sales. His experience with us--combined with
his extensive background in hospitality and retail sales--give him a unique perspective into
the buying process. Jeff has an almost uncanny ability to anticipate the needs and wants of
our customers.

buying or selling property. We accomplish that objective by providing the most professional
and effective support system for our sales team possible. Knowing that our customer’s
administrative needs and concerns are being watched over and tended to by our highly trained

Derrick Buford, M.F.A., Transaction Manager
Derrick is a remarkably talented professional. Since joining our group in
2000, Derrick excelled as our Marketing Director, as a highly successful
member of our sales team and now as our Transaction Manager,
for which he has an innate ability to orchestrate the myriad critical steps
required to ensure smooth and successful closings. As the Administrative
Team Leader, Derrick is also instrumental in keeping our office running like
a "well-oiled machine". Derrick holds a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and is a
gifted theatrical performer, director, and educator.
Greg Beck, Marketing Coordinator
Greg brings a tremendous amount of creativity, professionalism and
compassion to our team. Working closely with Gayle, Greg designs and
produces our in-house brochures, print media ads, special promotions, as
well as managing our high profile presence on multiple Internet sites. He is
also a gifted photographer with a knack for bringing out the very best in our
listings. Before we were lucky enough to entice Greg to join our team, he
enjoyed a successful twenty-year career on Broadway, including a successful
run, in the principle role of “Oscar”, with the award-winning revival of “42nd
Street".
Miriam Carreras, Customer Care Coordinator
Miriam is truly an extraordinary person. She somehow manages to be
endlessly cheerful, kind and warm, no matter what might be going on at the
time. Miriam greets each of our callers as though they were the most
important call of the day. With an amazing ability to multi-task, Miriam also
manages the showing schedule for our listings, follows-up every showing for
feedback to give to our sellers, makes sure each of our sellers receives
immediate copies of all ads and promotions and coordinates our weekly
group breakfast meeting…and all with a smile! Miriam is fully fluent in both
English & Spanish.
