“Run or Dye”, the world's most colorful 5K, is coming to Vista View Park in Davie on March 22, 2014. Bring all your friends and run a color-blasted 5K, where you get showered in safe, eco-friendly, plant-based cornstarch dye every kilometer. Then enjoy our world-famous Dye Festival afterward, where you can Tie-Dye the Sky (not to mention all your friends!) in this ultimate celebration of life, friendship, fitness, and fun. At Run or Dye, you become part of the rainbow...turning you into a technicolor canvas of fun! Jam out to the MC’s as they count down to the moment when YOU get to Tie-Dye the Sky and open your FREE color packet to share a bit of the rainbow with your friends, family, and everyone else around you. The result is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that many people say is the most fun they've ever had exercising! The fun starts at 9:00am and registration is $32-$37.

March 20-23, you can take the kids to see “Disney on Ice: Rockin’ Ever After” at the BB&T Center (One Panther Parkway, Sunrise). This brand-new spectacular features scenes from Disney Pixar’s “Brave”, “Tangled”, “The Little Mermaid” and “Beauty and the Beast”. Get ready to rock out with some of the most magical idols of all in a musical showcase that features the hottest tunes and talent from across the kingdom. It will be a rockin’ remix of royalty when Disney On Ice brings this superstar line-up to Fort Lauderdale! Showtimes vary and tickets start at $23.

On March 22, you can experience the “hard-rocking, thirst-quenching, over-the-top rock 'n' roll with a generous serving of the blues” that is George Thorogood and the Destroyers, when they perform at Fort Lauderdale’s Parker Playhouse (707 NE 8th Street). With hits like "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer," "Move it on Mover," "Who Do You Love," "Bad to the Bone" and "I Drink Alone," the band rocks out to its classic hits and performs remarkable covers of songs from Hank Williams, John Lee Hooker, Bo Diddley and others. After releasing 16 studio albums, including two Platinum and six Gold records, George Thorogood and the Destroyers have claimed a stake in blues-rock history. Come experience the legendary band that has kept pace for 40 years strong touring the world with is unique blend of boogie-rock and blues. Tickets are $37-$57 and the show starts at 8:00pm.
