Mark your calendars and help Fort Lauderdale celebrate Broward County's 100th Anniversary! The Kickoff event for the year-long centennial celebration is a block party in downtown Fort Lauderdale on October 16, from 5-9pm. See below for a schedule of the evening's festivities and we hope to see you there!
Event Schedule
5 - 5:30 p.m.
Arrive, explore the children's plaza, the information/education booths and food trucks, music will be playing and a graffiti artist will be creating art on the Museum of Art plaza
6:10 - 6:30 p.m.
Speakers on Children’s Plaza

John Wai Kung Fu Academy Lion Dance Performance Team will lead the public over to the areas where other activity is taking place -- Education Plaza, Entertainment Plaza, Museum of Art plaza and the Museum of Art Academy

Busker performing artists along Las Olas between 1st and 2nd Avenues
